Two Tracks of Application
You can apply via one of two tracks, but NOT both.
- Embassy Track: Apply through the Korean Embassy in Nepal.
Requires document submission, interview, and recommendation. Selection is
highly competitive.
- University Track: Apply directly to a designated Korean
university. If the university selects you, you are recommended to NIIED.
Tips for Success
The most important part of your application is the Statement of Purpose
(SOP) and Study Plan. You must clearly explain why
you chose Korea, what your research goals are, and how you will contribute to
the relationship between Nepal and Korea.
Light Water Consultancy provides specialized GKS counseling, including SOP review
and document preparation assistance.
